Animal Welfare – Our Purpose
Animal Welfare is a component of the Operations Directorate, dedicated to enhancing our processes continuously—from field practices to slaughterhouse procedures—ensuring high process standards and full consistency with our organizational values.
Our objective is to encourage and support best practices among employees, suppliers, partners, and all individuals interacting with live animals in our operations.
We operate in accordance with established standards, guidelines, and legal requirements to foster ongoing improvements.
An Animal Care Program and Policy are in place, which, among other key elements, support employee development through training and skill-building, as well as the identification and assessment of opportunities for creating short-, medium-, and long-term action plans.
